Este mes de enero, la revista Miniaturas cumple 200 números, es decir, ¡nada menos que 18 años!
Ahora todos usamos las nuevas tecnologías; las redes sociales nos han puesto en contacto a unos y a otros, los grandes artesanos tienen sus páginas web donde venden a todo el mundo, por no hablar de que casi todas las personas que saben hacer algo, intentan compartirlo en la red e incluso vender a través de páginas como ETSY. En la actualidad podemos comprar en tiendas de cualquier parte del mundo y abundan los museos dedicados a las miniaturas.
Nowadays all of we use new technologies; social networks put us in contact to one and all, great artisans have their websites where they sell to everyone all over the world, not to mention that most people who can craft something, try to share theis work through the network and even sell in pages as ETSY. Today we can buy in stores anywhere in the world and there are many museums dedicated to the miniatures.
¿Os imagináis hace 18 años intentar poner en pie una revista como esta?. ¡Qué trabajo tan tremendo buscar tanta información sobre artesanos y aficionados no sólo de España, si no del mundo entero! ¡Y sin apenas medios tecnológicos! Por otra parte, me parece increíble que la revista tuviera éxito al principio, ya que esta afición por entonces era mucho más minoritaria que ahora (!que ya es decir¡)
Can you imagine 18 years ago trying to start up a magazine like this ?.What a tremendous job search a bunch of information about artisans and enthusiasts not only from Spain, all over the world! And almost no technological means! Moreover, it seems incredible that the magazine was successful at first, due to this hobby was then much more minority thyan now (That is! )
Además, me gustaría agradeceros el apoyo que me habéis mostrado desde que empecé a compartir mi trabajo en el blog, y sólo siento no corresponderos como debería, pues tengo poco tiempo para navegar y comentar vuestros trabajos. Prometo intentar enmendarme.

Quería felicitar a Madelva Fernández de Rojas, y a su enorme equipo, por estos 200 números llenos de inspiración, y me gustaría agradecerles el enorme esfuerzo que a lo largo de estos años han realizado por poner en valor y dar a conocer esta afición, y a tantos y tantos artesanos y pequeños aficionados. Espero sinceramente que vuestro camino esté a penas empezando y podamos disfrutar de vuestras páginas muchos años.

Yo por mi parte, colaboro siempre que puedo, desde septiembre de 2013, y ya he publicado mis trabajos en 13 números.
Dentro de mis propósitos de año nuevo está intentar seguir compartiendo con vosotros todo lo que aprendo, tanto a través del blog como de la revista. Pues si una cosa ha cambiado en estos años gracias a la contribución de revistas como ésta y a las nuevas tecnologías , ha sido que esta afición se ha popularizado mucho, y ya no tiene por qué ser prohibitiva para nuestros bolsillos.
On my behalf, I collaborate whenever I can, since September 2013, and I've already posted my work in X numbers.
One of my new year's resolutions is to try to continue sharing with you everything I learn, both through the blog and the magazine. Because if something has changed over the years thanks to magazines like this and new technologies, it is that this hobby has become very popular, and no longer has to be prohibitive for our pockets.

Otro de los propósitos para este año 2015, es intentar asistir como artesana a la feria Internacional Tom Bishop de Madrid que se celebra en noviembre, tengo mucho tiempo para ello, de modo que espero conseguirlo.
