Después de unos días de vacaciones, he regresado con las pilas puestas. Y más me vale, pues se avecina un año duro en mi trabajo.

After a few days of vacation, I'm back with the batteries installed. This is a good thing because I' will have a tough year in my work. 

Este próximo curso tenemos bastantes novedades, no todas son malas (como los recortes en educación que llevamos sufriendo desde hace unos años) , pero sí suponen más trabajo y dedicación.
Por mi parte, sigo estudiando idiomas.
Y en lo que respecta a las miniaturas, pondré a la venta mis escenas en unos días y continuaré con el blog intentando echar una manita siempre que pueda.
Como veis, tengo la agenda algo apretada.

The next course we'll have many new features. Not all are bad (like the cuts in education that we have been suffering for a few years), but some of them require more work and dedication.
For my part, I continue studying languajes.
And with respect to the miniatures, in short I will put on the market my roomboxes while I will try to make useful tutorials on my blog.
So that I'll have a tight agenda. 

Sin embargo, por mi bien mental y espiritual, encontraré todas las noches un rato para poder hacer miniaturas y evadirme por unas horas de los problemas y obligaciones diarias. 

However, for my mental and spiritual well being, I will find some time every night to make miniatures and avoid me thinking for a few hours in our daily problems and obligations. 

Esta es la razón por la que he decidido no aceptar encargos. 

Si fuera una persona pragmática, debería hacerlo, pero me conozco bien y sé que en el momento en que acepte el primero, este hobby se convierte en una obligación y por tanto en algo muy parecido a un trabajo, es decir en fuente de preocupaciones. 

This is the reason because I've decided not to work upon request.
If I were a pragmatist, I should accept, but I know myself, and I am sure that accepting the first order means changing this hobby into an obligation, into something very much like a job, and therefore into a source of concerns. 

Cada escena será única, original, irrepetible... reflejo de mi espíritu, de mis habilidades, de mis preocupaciones, y todas ellas serán fruto de una total libertad creativa.
No sé donde me llevará esto, pero esa es la gracia de vivir una aventura tan divertida.

Each of my scenes will be unique, original, unrepeatable... reflection of my spirit, my skills, my concerns... and all of them will be the result of a total creative freedom.
I do not know how far I'll get but that's the point of this funny adventure. 

Una vez que os he contado este rollo, me gustaría mostraros una escena muy diferente a la anterior. Una escena dulce, optimista y bastante femenina. Y es que no hay como unos días de vacaciones para que veamos el mundo de otro color.

Once I have told you this drag, I'd like to show you a very different scene to the last one. This is a sweet scene, optimistic and quite feminine. Because there's nothing like a few days off to see the world in a different color. 

Como viene siendo habitual, he partido de tres tableros de MDF, ensambladas con canutillo. 

El zócalo, una pared y el suelo están forrados con madera de balsa y tratados con tinte o con pintura acrílica. El papel de pared de lunares lo podéis encontrar aquí.

As usual, I've started making the roombox with three MDF boards assembled with dowels.
The baseboard, one of the walls and the floor is covered with balsa wood stripes, painted or tinted.

He aprovechando algunas cosas que ya conocíais, como son “un aparador muy viejo”, una “silla moderna” y un alfombra con una estampación realizada siguiendo este proceso.

I've taken advantage of some things hat you already know, such as a 'very old sideboard', a 'modern chair', and a rug printed following this process. 

La mesa está realizada con alambre galvanizado y madera. Un diseño sencillo y fácil de hacer siguiendo las medidas rigurosamente, y doblando el alambre formando esquinas perfectas, con las herramientas adecuadas, (sin necesidad de hacer soldaduras o uniones). 

The desk is made with galvanized wire and popsicle sticks. It is a simple design, easy to do following the measures carefully, and bending the wire forming perfect corners with the right tools (no welds or joints are needed).

Los demás detalles de la escena, son sencillos de hacer. He utilizado : cartón, papel, madera de balsa, palos de polos, letras de madera, letras transferibles, accesorios para pescar, charms, botes de cristal... 

All other details are also simple to do. I used: cardboard, paper, balsa wood, popsicle sticks, wooden letters, transferable letters, fishing accessories, charms, glass jars...

Mercado de pulgas- Flea Market

En general no me gusta que los objetos estén pegados en mis escenas, pues a todos nos gusta tocar las cosas y si lo fijamos todo, se acabó el juego. 

La escena que os enseño hoy es un ejemplo de lo que estoy contando. Pero vamos por partes.
Veréis que hoy a penas hay nada nuevo en lo que se refiere a tutoriales, más bien es un compendio de cómo usar cosas que ya hemos aprendido.

Generally, I don't like sticking the objects of my scenes because everybody enjoys touching things and if we fix all these things, the game is over.
The scene of this post is a perfect example of what I am saying. But let's break this down.
Today you will see that there is no new tutorials, you will see a compendium of how to use things we have already learned. 

En el foro Tus Miniaturas, una chica me preguntó cómo hacía el soporte donde iba a colocar la escena. Está fabricado en DM y normalmente es de 7 mm de grosor. Si usáis el de 5mm es más difícil ensamblarlo, aunque por otro lado pesa menos.
Para ensamblarlo utilizo palillos de brocheta. En esta entrada podéis ver esta explicación y cómo hacer una pared de ladrillos con cartón pluma, que es como he hecho las paredes de esta escena también.

In the forum Tus Miniaturas, someoene needs to know how I build the trihedral.
It is made with MDF, usually with 7 mm thick. If you use the 5 mm, it will be more difficult to assemble, but otherwise it will be lighter.
To assemble it, I use skewer sticks. In this post you can see this explanation and how to make a brick wall with foam board, which is how I made the walls of this scene too. 

En la siguiente imagen podéis ver cómo la fachada de la tienda está montada sobre la superficie de ladrillo.
Las molduras y la madera en general están primeramente teñidas de color roble, y después de ébano, así no queda negra del todo y adquiere un tono cálido muy agradable.

In the next picture we can see how the storefront is glued on the brick surface.
The moldings and all the wood are tinged with oak color first, and then with ebony. In this manner the wood is not entirely black and acquires a very nice warm tone. 

En la entrada anterior hice mis propias molduras. En ésta he utilizado una moldura fina de cuadros y algunas adquiridas en tiendas de miniaturas. 

Estoy algo molesta con mi proveedor, porque a pesar de ser cara, es una madera de mala calidad, extremadamente seca que se quiebra al cortarla y para colmo los listones están ligeramente curvados. ¿Me podéis decir si es esto lo normal? Si es así, no volveré a comprar este tipo de material por correo. 

In the previous post I made my own moldings. In this, I used a thin molding frame and some moldings from a miniature store buyed on the Internet..
I'm a little annoyed with my supplier, because despite the fact that the miniature moldings are expensive, the wood has poor quality, is very dry and cracks when I cut it and the strips are slightly curved. Can you tell me if this is usual? If so, I will not buy this type of material without seeing it before. 

La persiana metálica está hecha con cartón ondulado. La he pintado de plateado y después le he dado algunos efectos de óxido.

The metal shutter is made of corrugated cardboard. I've painted it with silver first and then added some oxide effects 

Y esta sería la pinta general de la escena (...a una hora muy temprana) 

And this would be my new scene (... at an early hour) 

Pero como os decía al principio de esta entrada, esta escena es un juguete, una escena que se transforma según tengáis el ánimo. De modo que un poco más tarde...

But as I said at the beginning of this post, this scene is a toy, It can be transformed according to your mood. So a bit later ... 

No sé que os parecerá a vosotros, pero para mí los mercados de pulgas me parecen maravillosos, nostálgicos, extraños,  emocionantes, curiosos, sorprendentes...
Es lo que tienen las cosas viejas, piensas en las personas que las han poseído antes y ya han desaparecido y esa certidumbre de que estamos de paso, pero quizás algo de nosotros queda atrapado en esos objetos les dota de un valor mágico.
En fin, que me molan mucho ;-)

I do not know what you think about it, but in my understanding, flea markets seem marvelous, nostalgic, strange, exciting, curious, amazing ...
Is it about old things, I tend to imagine the people who have owned these thigs before and have already disappeared. The certainty that we are passing, but the fact that perhaps some of us is trapped in these objects gives them a magical value. Aniway, I love flea markets ;-)
