Two months ago, I showed you my first scene with two heights. I loved the result, but I admit that the colours where a bit too much pink. So that, I couldn't resist to try it again, but this time with warm colours to keep balanced my blood sugar levels ;-)

I started with three different sizes MDF boards.
I covered the floor with wood strips and painted it white and grey. After that, I applied wax with a bit of bitumen of Judea to get more visual warmth

I covered the walls with plastic putty for cracks in walls, using a bricks template. I did it in both sides.
I admit that these templates are expensive, but they save time and effort, and if you take care of them and clean them up quickly, they last almost forever

I assembled the three boards by using brocheta sticks. I painted the brick walls reds (outside) and white (inside). I applied plastic varnish to protect them and after that, talc powder.

Because I don't use electric saw, (I don't have enough space for it) I used 5 mm thick foamboard for the wall with the window. I covered it with dyed wood strips inside the room and outside.

I treated the window with a technique of Lea Frisoni: with transparent glue in your finger, you have to touch repeatedly the acetate, when it dries it looks like a frosted glass.
After that I applied dimensional paint that imitates stained glass in both sides of the acetate. After it was dry, I painted with glass paintings.

I made the wood structure for the top dyed in oak colour, and I glued the stairs to the wall.

I covered one wall with an orange paper with green dots

After finishing the architectural elements, I began furnishing the room
Upstairs this time, I prefered to put an armchair instead of a bed to have enough space to put a record player and a table with records, so I did the mattress, the back and added two cushions.

For the room downstairs, I transformed some unfinished furnitures. The two tables are painted white and then sanded, the chair is dyed and its legs are painted yellow. The corner cupboard has a long history, wich basicaly consist in learn throw making mistakes. Finaly, I painted it again for the the third time, but in this case with white,

I had only to add the details: the table for the records and the record player, (made of foam board, thick paper, and some pieces of a watch)...

...a rustic mobile hanging from the beams, a picture and some posters, a Thermos flask from a box for compass leads...

...an oval frame with for hanging necklaces, two oval boxes of hats to keep sewing items, fabrics, books, perfume bottles, keys, glasses...

...and on the table, a sculpture of decorated skulls that give a Mexican air to this scene.

Because at this time Halloween is celebrated in all English-speaking countries, and it is a pagan celebration.

Two days later in Spain we have the All Saints' Day and in Mexico All Souls' Day , both are Christian celebrations but it means to me that the Mexican celebration is rather happier than ours.
Anyway, I wish you a good day!!
