One of those things I like the most is to answer your emails. But I have a problem with virus or something, so I'm not able to answer them until I fix my computer :-/. I thank you in advance.
This scene appeared in October in the journal Miniaturas. Since the magazine is Spanish, I translated the article into English.
To do this scene, I used two DMF boards, one for the wall and the other for the ground. In the third wall I wanted to put a window, so I used thick balsa to simplify. All the boards are assembled with wood wtiks.
With templates and putty, I got the texture of the walls and floor.
First I painted the walls white, then painted some stones here and there with brown, ocher, yellow, etc. and to homogenize the color I applied a thin white with sponge.
Both, the door and the window are made of thin balsa wood.
The wood is oak color dyed and then painted with black acrylic for certain parts, then I applied the first component of crackle varnish. Once it was dry, I added blue and white on some parts.
Finally, I applied the second component of crackle, in different areas.
I realized the porch with thin slats of wood and polo sticks
The details are a compendium of recycling staff.
With caps and pieces of copper pipes I realized a few containers pots, the interior is black air drying putty textured with a toothbrush.
To paint on plastic or metal, I recommend you to buy a primer specific for these materials
I made the lamps, the ceiling lamp with a suction cup, I painted some rusty effects with a sponge and the hurricane lamp with air drying putty, using a plastic tube.
The bell is a door mobile of a shop and I did the support with wire.
The porch shelf is a piece of wood of the countryside attached to the wall by a black aluminum wire.
The wooden house is a scrapbooking embellishment painted and crackle.
El buzón lo hice con estaño.
I did the letter box with tin.
And finally the plants are made with Fimo following some tutorials on the Internet and seasoned with a bit of intuition.
