Calendario de Adviento 2020 - Advent Calendar 2020

Matxalen nos invita todos los años a contribuir con algún tutorial en el Calendario de Adviento dedicado a las miniaturas, y yo estoy encantada de participar, sobre todo en un año tan difícil fomentando de algún modo la creatividad y el amor por las miniaturas y las casas de muñecas.

Matxalen invites us every year to contribute with a tutorial in the Advent Calendar dedicated to miniatures, and I am delighted to participate, especially in such a difficult year, somehow fostering creativity and love for miniatures and dollhouses.

Si me seguís un poco, sabréis que mis trabajos están hechos en su mayoría con papel y materiales reciclados, por eso os recomiendo mirar cualquier objeto dos veces antes de tirarlo a la basura. 

El tutorial de hoy es un flexo antiguo.

If you usually follow me, you will know that my works are made mostly with paper and recycled materials, so I recommend you look at any object twice before throwing it away.
Today's tutorial is an old flexo

Los materiales han sido: la boca de un bote pequeño de crema; la base de un aplique para colgar cuadros sin usar taladro, al cual le he cortado el gancho; un trozo de cable muy fino; un alambre grueso; el tope de atrás de un pendiente; un trocito de madera para hacer el enchufe y un papel pequeño enrollado para hacer el casquillo.

Como las imágenes hablan por si solas os pongo la secuencia en fotografías.

The materials have been: the mouth of a small plastic bottle of cream; the base of an appliqué to hang pictures without using a drill, to which I have cut the hook; a piece of thick wire; the back of an earring; a piece of wood to make the plug and a small piece of rolled paper to make the bulb base.

Escenas infantiles II- Children scenes II

Seguimos con las escenas montadas en estanterías con forma de casita.
I continue with the scenes mounted on shelves shaped like houses.

La segunda escena la he montado en una estantería más grande que la anterior (Podéis ver esa entrada pinchando aquí), de modo que se puede aprovechar la altura y componer en vertical, por ello, decidí hacer una cabaña en la parte superior.

I continue with the scenes mounted on shelves shaped like houses.
The second scene is in a larger shelf than the previous one (you can visit the previous post here), so that we can take advantage of the height and compose in vertical, so I decided to make a cabin at the top.

Primero forré el interior con cartón corrugado y madera, pinté, envejecí, y realicé la plataforma con maderas cortadas muy toscamente.

I first lined the interior of the hut with corrugated cardboard and wood, I painted and aged, and I made the platform with very roughly cut timbers.

Hice las paredes exteriores pero no las pegué aún pues en el interior quería poner una luz.

Teñí la madera y después pinté con marrón y blanco de forma irregular.

I made the outer walls but I did not attach them yet because I wanted to put a light inside.
I dyed the wood and then painted with brown and white irregularly.

Hice una puerta de madera, que envejecí con cera y sombras de ojos.
I made a wooden door, which I aged with wax and eye shadows.

Coloqué en el suelo y en las paredes ladrillos y baldosas como en la escena anterior, y pinté con una esponja.

I placed some bricks and tiles on the floor and on the walls as in the previous scene, and I painted it using a sponge.

 Hice algunas plantas y pegué arena de playa a los lados y briznas de hierba

 I made some plants and I glued beach sand to the sides and Sprigs of herbs.

Hice las lámparas con pequeños botes de cristal, alambre, apliques para las uñas y unos microLEDs.
Coloqué varias lámparas y un microLED en el interior de la cabaña.

I made the lamps with small glass jars, wire, fingernail appliques and microLEDs.
I placed several lamps, also in the interior of the cabin.

Con una mallorquina, he realizado un soporte para poner las cartas y colgar llaves.
With a shutter, I made a support to put the letters and hang keys.

Preparé una cesta con unos bollos, chocolate y frutas para subirla y bajarla con una cuerda en una polea (esta última hecha con un botón de vaquero)

I prepared a basket with some bread rolls, chocolate and fruit. I tied a rope to upload the basket with a pulley (made with a jean button)

En un barreño metálico algo oxidado he puesto retales de tela con cola, como si fuera la ropa de la colada. En el tendedero ropa infantil y un precioso osito de telas de colores de Esther González de Cositas de Casitas.

In a rusty metallic tub I have put cloths with glue, as if it was the laundry.
On the clothes line I put children's clothing and a beatutiful and colored teddy bear made by Esther González de Cositas de Casitas

Escenas infantiles I- Children's scenes I

Os traigo un proyecto sencillo y bastante vistoso, pues lo he realizado en el interior de unos estantes que tienen forma de casita que están muy de moda ahora.
He hecho un par de escenas infantiles, para regalar a unas amigas que han sido madres recientemente.
La idea era representar los juegos infantiles sin resultar demasiado cursi.

This is a simple project but quite nice, because I have done it inside house-shape shelves that are very fashionable now.
I have done a couple of scenes that talk about children, because I've had two friends who have been mothers recently.
The idea was to represent children's games without being too cheesy.

La primera está hecha en la casita más pequeña, de modo que la complicacion está en que tenemos poco espacio para componer la escena. 

The first one it is made in the smallest house. So the complication is that we have little room to compose the scene.

He forrado la pared del fondo, con listones de maderas. La he pintado de blanco y con cera y betún de Judea he envejecido.
Con sombra de ojos he ensuciado aquí y allá. 

I lined the back wall, with strips of wood. I have painted it white and with wax and bitumen from Judea I get it dirty in some areas.
With eye shadow I have fouled here and there.

Sobre papel grueso, he aplicado masilla plástica utilizando dos plantillas. Una con forma de ladrillos y otra con forma de losetas.
Una vez secas, les he dado Alkil para que no se desmenucen.

On thick paper, I applied plastic putty using two templates. One of bricks and the other of tiles.
Once dry, I have given them acrylic varnish to avoid it to crumble.

He recortado algunos trozos del papel con la forma de los ladrillos y lo he pegado aquí y allá. Le he dado gesso a la pared con los ladrillos pegados para homogeneizar el aspecto.
En el suelo he hecho lo mismo con el papel de las losas, y además he pintado primero a esponja con marrón, gris y algo de verde.
A ambos lados de las losas, he pegado arena de playa y un poco de musgo por los rincones.

I have cut out some pieces of paper with the shape of the bricks and pasted it here and there. I applied gesso to homogenize the appearance.
On the floor I have done the same with the paper of the slabs, and I have also painted sponge first with brown, gray and some green.
I have pasted beach sand and a little moss in the corners.

Por fuera puse unas tejas hechas también con masilla plástica sobre un papel grueso, fijadas con alkil y pintadas de negro. Después con la técnica del pincel seco le he dado con blanco.

Outside I put some tiles made also with plastic putty on a thick paper, fixed with acrylic varnish and I painted it in black. Then with the technique of the dry brush I painted with white.

Para hacer la lámpara, primero hice los agujeros para los LEDs en una estrella de madera de manualidades y pegué una tira de papel grueso de 7mm de ancho siguiendo el contorno de la estrella.
La pinté de verde y le dí un poquito de cera para darle después con sombra de ojos y conseguir así una apariencia metálica.
Fijé los microLEDs y por detras puse otra estrella con un agujero en el medio por donde sacar los cables.
Este tipo de lámpara ya lo hice en “Una escena ”P”erfecta”

To make the lamp, I first made the holes for the LEDs in a wooden craft star and I pasted a strip of 7mm thick paper along the outline of the star.
I painted it green and gave it a bit of wax and eye shadow to get a metallic look.
I fixed the microLEDs and in the backI put another star with a hole in the middle for the cables.
This type of lamp I already did in "A " P "erfect scene"

Las sillas las compré por Internet, tienen las patas muy cortas, de modo que parecen asientos para niños.
Las pinté de blanco y con una esponja de maquillar pinté las manchas de óxido.

I bought the chairs online, they have very short legs, so they look like children's seats.
I painted them in white and with a makeup sponge I painted the rust stains.

Puse una estantería pequeñita que hice hace tiempo mientras aprendía a soldar. Si aún no habéis leído cómo soldar aquí tenéis el enlace.

Colgué algunos carteles antiguos, puse una pila de leña, macetas...

I put a little shelf that I made a while ago while I was how to weld. If you have not read how to weld here you have the link.

I hung some old posters, I put a pile of firewood, pots …

 Sobre una cajas de madera apiladas improvisé una mesa para el té.

¡Mirad al perrito sentado pacientemente esperando a que empiece esta merendilla!

On a stacked wooden box I improvised a table for the tea.
Look at the dog waiting patiently sitting on a chair to start this tea party!

En la próxima entrada os enseño la segunda escena que he construido dentro de otra casita más grande que ésta.
Por hoy casi he terminado.
Os dejo una entrevista que me hicieron en Canal Extremadura este año. No es que se me oiga muy bien, pues llevo una temporada con un problema en mis cuerdas vocales que no termina de resolverse, pero creo que la entrevista está graciosa.
